My 10 Holy Grail Beauty Products of 2024
From Skincare Saviors to Makeup Magic, These Picks Truly Deliver
After trying hundreds of beauty products this year, I’ve narrowed it down to my ultimate top 10.
These aren’t just good, they’re the absolute best.
No matter if you’re after skincare that works wonders, makeup essentials that deliver every time, or haircare heroes to revive your locks, these picks won’t let you down.
From my #1 favorite (a true ride-or-die) to #10 (still a superstar in its own right), every product here earned its spot as a holy grail.
I’ve also thrown in a few honorable mentions because I couldn’t resist.
Let’s dive into the best of 2024. You might just find your next favorite!
1. Mirror Skin Copper Elixir
Mirror Skin Copper Elixir is, without question, the very best copper peptide serum on the market.
I apply it 1-2 times a day on clean skin, and it absorbs beautifully, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and firm.
Its lightweight texture makes it a seamless addition to any routine.
Copper peptides are known for promoting collagen and elastin production, which help improve skin firmness and elasticity over time.
They also accelerate cell turnover and reduce inflammation, making them effective for smoothing fine lines, supporting skin healing, and calming irritation.
Honorable mention goes to Medik8 Liquid Peptides, which is another excellent option, but Mirror Skin Copper Elixir takes the top spot for me.
2. CurrentBody Series 2 Mask
The CurrentBody Series 2 LED Mask offers improved comfort, enhanced coverage, and serious anti-aging benefits.
After 8 weeks of consistent use, it’s clear this version outshines the original.
The redesigned silicone base offers full facial coverage, especially around the chin, while its advanced technology combines red light, near-infrared, and deep near-infrared wavelengths to stimulate collagen, renew skin cells, and address visible signs of aging.
Practical updates like a new strap system, USB-C charging, and a multitasking-friendly design make it easy to use daily.
If you’re considering LED therapy, the Series 2 Mask delivers glowing results with minimal effort.

3. Naturium Azelaic Topical Acid 10%
Naturium Azelaic Topical Acid 10% has earned its place as a skincare staple in my routine a thousand times over.
After finishing multiple bottles, I can confidently call it a must-have for anyone dealing with acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, or closed comedones.
This water-based serum is gentle enough for twice-daily use and delivers consistently effective results.
I hope they never change the formula or discontinue it—it’s that good.
Honorable mention goes to their Mandelic Topical Acid, another excellent option.
4. EDEAM Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm
EDEAM Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm delivers a super glossy finish without being overly sticky.
I currently own it in Boba Bounce and Bissap Glaze, but honestly, I want every color!
It leaves your lips incredibly soft and plump, with the effect lasting for days, even after I remove it at night before bed.
After years of wearing only matte lipstick, I’m fully embracing my lip gloss era. Next on my list: trying Rhode Beauty’s glosses
This balm is perfect as a stocking stuffer!
PS - this is only half related, but I highly recommend these brushes from Rephr for seamless blending! It seems I’ve entered my blush era at the same time as my lip gloss era.
5. Hanni Splash Salve
I have the worst dry skin known to man, and Hanni Splash Salve absolutely saves me every time.
This in-shower moisture treatment is incredible—it smells amazing and leaves my skin deeply hydrated and super soft without needing a drop of lotion afterward.
Designed as the final step in your shower routine, it’s quick and easy to use: just apply, rinse lightly, and pat dry.
The result is nourished, supple skin that feels incredible for hours.
When layered over their Water Balm Spray, it’s even better, making this a winter essential I can’t live without.

6. Curling Wand
I use a curling wand, around 0.75-1 inch in size, and it includes a clip, though I never use it.
Since the clip lays flush with the barrel, it doesn't affect the curls.
I got it secondhand from a friend back in 2019, so I’m not sure of the brand.
I wish I had a cordless version instead of one with a cord because the cord is a bit annoying. It constantly gets tangled up when I’m doing my hair.
I have another clipped iron with a larger barrel, and it always leaves a weird bend at the end of my hair, though maybe that’s just me being bad at using it (very possible).
In 2025, I’m embracing my curls! I have thick 2c/3a hair and recently got a great haircut.
I used to have about three feet of hair, but I got about 8 inches taken off, and I’m loving the volume I get from the long layers I asked for.
(Highly recommend asking for face-framing bangs if you have hair like mine!)
This curling wand is a lifesaver for quick touch-ups—I can spend just 15 minutes working on the curls in the front of my head before heading out.
It’s way easier on my hair than trying to straighten it, and it looks better than leaving it natural after a few days.
My wash routine includes ScalpMed shampoo, L’Oréal Ever Pure Conditioner, and for leave-in, I use Blueberry Bliss Curls, Dae Curl Cream, and FountainHead Moisturizing Hair Oil.
I also use Briogeo’s Don’t Despair, Repair Hair Mask once a week, but I leave it on for a day or two before washing it out because sometimes I am laaaaazy. You’re really not supposed to do that, but hey, life gets in the way sometimes.
I also scrunch my hair when wet and apply the leave-in conditioner, and lately I’ve been blow-drying it a bit instead of using the plop method.
Two open concerns I have:
I’m still struggling with my curls being more “stringy” than clumping nicely into bigger voluminous curls. Maybe it’s just my hair, maybe I’m doing something wrong.
I’m still figuring out how to get more volume at the roots without curling—might need a texturizing spray.
If anyone has recommendations, let me know!
7. Allies of Skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector
As someone who’s acne-prone and deals with stubborn hyperpigmentation, the Allies of Skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum has been transformative.
It’s gentle enough for me to layer with tretinoin without irritation (though not everyone may tolerate that combo - my skin is used to pushing boundaries).
Its multitasking formula dissolves dead skin cells while deeply hydrating and nourishing with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and organic oils like rosehip and tamanu.
Bakuchiol adds retinol-like benefits, improving skin tone, elasticity, and radiance without harshness, while peptides calm redness and enhance your skin’s natural glow.
The lightweight texture absorbs quickly, replenishing moisture as it exfoliates.
With consistent nightly use, it fades discoloration and leaves skin noticeably brighter and more even over time.

8. Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Blush Stick
The Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Blush Stick made me fall in love with blush this year.
It’s the easiest way to create a soft, feminine look, even if you’re short on time or makeup skills (trust me, I’m no pro, and I can pull it off!).
I use the shade Pomegranate, and it’s absolutely stunning.
I apply it to the tops of my cheekbones, layering it over the Monika Blunder Liquid Flush Cheek Tint in Peachy Pink, which I dot-and-blend slightly lower on the apples of my cheeks and across my nose.
The combination creates a glowy, flushed look that’s effortlessly radiant.
If you’re looking for a versatile cream blush that blends like a dream, this one is a must-have.
I’ve also heard great things about Rare Beauty’s blushes, though I haven’t tried any of them yet.
9. Banisher 2.0 Microneedling Tool
Banisher 2.0 Microneedling Tool has become a staple in my weekly routine.
I use it on my face and hairline to promote hair growth, boost collagen production, and fade hyperpigmentation.
For now, I stick to 0.25mm needles for my face, which feels safe and effective, but I’m considering graduating to longer needles stimulate more growth along my hairline. Stress hasn’t been kind to me these past two years, and I’m seeing some thinning and premature greying.
This tool is easy to use and delivers noticeable results with consistent application, making it a great option for anyone looking to take their skincare (or haircare…or scalp care?) routine to the next level.
10. Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream
Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream is a 10/10 in my opinion.
It instantly brightens and depuffs, giving my tired eyes a radiant, lifted look while tackling dark circles and fine lines.
Its pearlescent finish and long-lasting formula make it a staple in my routine.
Key ingredients like caffeine and Brazilian ginseng root extract reduce puffiness and dark circles, while horse chestnut and acmella oleracea smooth fine lines and crow’s feet.
Antioxidant-rich lutein brightens and protects, and cocoa butter, shea butter, and watermelon rind extract hydrate and plump for a refreshed, youthful appearance.
For a more affordable alternative, Hero Cosmetics offers an eye cream that doubles as a concealer, with a soothing metal applicator to depuff and cool the under-eye area.
Because the Hero tube is smaller than the Sunday Riley one, I keep Hero’s in my travel cosmetics bag and Sunday Riley’s in my bathroom drawer.
1. Tretinoin
This doesn’t make the top 10 list since it requires a prescription, but I apply it nearly every night, and it’s truly the holy grail of anti-aging.
Nothing else compares when it comes to smoothing fine lines, improving texture, and keeping skin youthful.

2. Rephr Makeup Brushes
I’ve never been big on makeup beyond eyeliner and lipstick, but with more events and weddings on my calendar, I’ve been making an effort.
Rephr brushes make blending effortless and elevate your makeup game right from the first use.
Then, I chose a foundation from Makeup Forever after getting color-matched at Sephora. I went with the HD Skin Hydra Glow, which is incredibly easy to apply.
While it can look a little cakey at first - my biggest fear - it settles beautifully once it “warms up” on your skin and looks flawless.
I’m still getting the hang of eyeshadow, but when I wear it, I use a bit of the Supergoop Shimmer Shade in Gold.
It’s subtle and easy to apply, though layering eyeliner over it can be tricky.
For eyeliner, I stick with the KVD Tattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Set from Sephora, which has been my go-to for about a year.
Prior to that, I used to use this dual tip liquid eyeliner from either Maybelline or NYX from Ulta, but the KVD product lasts much longer.
I’m also not convinced the eyeliner I used to use is around anymore because I can’t seem to find a link for you!
3. SuperGoop’s Glowscreen
Supergoop! Glowscreen might be a bit impractical, but it truly makes you GLOW.
I love wearing it—it leaves me feeling so pretty and sunkissed.
For daily use, their Zinc Screen is a fantastic lightweight option that’s perfect for everyday wear.

Cheers,
Hi Stacy, I’ve got wavy, curly hair that is long and the latest things I’ve been doing so that it behaves is you need a towel that’s for curly haired people so your hair doesn’t frizz. I also put Kerastase conditioner and whatever else I’ve got on my hair preferably over night then wash it the next day. I only wash it twice a week as well. How this helps
