I’ve put together a list of my favorite beauty products and a few things I think are worth checking out this year.
Feel free to scroll through the recommendations or jump to a brand you’re interested in.
Here’s what I’d add to my cart:
Beauty
1. Saie Dew Blush
Dew Blush is one of my favorite blushes.
My everyday shade is Chilly, a beautiful rosy pink that makes my face look flushed and healthy.
It blends into my skin without looking cakey, and I wear it almost every day.
I also have Spicy, a deeper terracotta shade that I sometimes layer with Chilly.
A little goes a long way with this formula, so keep that in mind when applying it!
2. Saie SuperSuede Powder Blush
SuperSuede Powder Blush has a pretty formula that blends well and gives your cheeks a soft flush of color.
I have the shade Stella, a pink that’s a little too bright for my personal taste.
I also noticed some powder fallout during application, although that could be my technique since I’m more comfortable with cream and liquid blushes.
If you prefer powder blush, this one is worth checking out.
3. Saie Slip Tint Baked Setting Powder
Slip Tint Baked Setting Powder is one of my favorite setting powders.
I’m not someone who knows how to “bake” my face, but I love how this powder controls shine without making my makeup look heavy or cakey.
I even wore it to a wedding in Hawaii, and my makeup lasted all night despite the humidity, without any setting spray.
The shade I have is a little too orange for my undertones, but I love the formula and how it makes my skin look like I have a filter on.
4. Saie Glossybounce Lip Gloss Oil
Glossybounce Lip Gloss Oil is another favorite of mine.
I have it in the shade Splash, which looks much brighter in photos than it does on my lips.
It’s more of a nude, peachy color that’s easy to wear every day.
I love how hydrating the formula feels without being sticky.
It gives my lips a beautiful glossy finish and leaves them feeling soft.
5. Saie CitySet Lightweight Hydrating Setting Spray
CitySet Lightweight Hydrating Setting Spray is a nice option if you like a fresh, dewy makeup look.
The alcohol-free formula contains hydrating ingredients and is designed to help keep makeup looking fresh without making your skin feel dry.
I think it’s a good everyday setting spray to consider, whether you prefer minimal makeup or a full face.
6. Saie Mini Vanity Case Vault
If you’ve been wanting to try more products from Saie or need a gift for someone who loves makeup, the Best of Saie Mini Vanity Case Vault is worth checking out.
It comes with six full-size products, two minis, and a limited-edition vanity case.
You get a mix of Saie’s popular makeup products, including Dew Blush, Glossybounce, and CitySet Setting Spray.
7. Skinfix Skin Barrier Restoring Gel Cream
Skinfix Skin Barrier Restoring Gel Cream is a great option for oily and combination skin.
It has a lightweight texture that absorbs well and keeps skin hydrated without feeling greasy.
With niacinamide and peptides, it also helps support the skin barrier and improve the appearance of pores.
8. Makeup by Mario Soft Pop Cream Blush Stick
Before I started using Saie Dew Blush, Soft Pop Cream Blush Stick was my go-to blush.
I love how creamy and easy to blend it is, and the built-in brush makes application convenient.
My favorite shade is Pomegranate, a beautiful red that gives my cheeks a natural-looking flush of color.
9. Makeup by Mario F4 Dual-Ended Foundation and Face Brush
As someone who travels a lot, I love makeup brushes that can do more than one thing, and the F4 Dual-Ended Foundation and Face Brush is a great example.
It has two different brush heads for blending and building coverage, and it works with liquid, cream, and powder products.
I love the convenience of having two brushes in one, especially when I’m trying to pack light.
10. Eadem Le Chouchou Lip Balm
Le Chouchou Lip Balm is one of my favorite lip products.
It comes in a squeeze tube with a cooling metal tip applicator that feels amazing on my lips.
The formula is moisturizing and gives my lips a pretty, glossy finish.
My favorite shade is Bissap Glaze.
I also used to have Boba Bounce, but I lost it somewhere along the way!
11. Eadem Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum
Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum is a good option if you’re dealing with dark spots, post-acne marks, or uneven skin tone.
It has a lightweight, milky texture and combines niacinamide, vitamin C, and gentle fruit enzymes to help brighten skin and improve the appearance of discoloration over time.
I also like that it’s designed to address hyperpigmentation without relying on harsh exfoliation.
12. Experiment Super Saturated Hydrating Barrier Serum
Super Saturated Hydrating Barrier Serum is a great option if your skin needs extra hydration.
It contains 30% glycerin and polyglutamic acid to help draw moisture into the skin and support your skin barrier.
What I like about this formula is its gel-like texture.
It spreads easily, feels nourishing without being heavy, and layers well under makeup.
If you’re using retinol or dealing with dry, dehydrated skin, this could be a nice hydrating step to add to your routine.
13. Experiment Molecular Mesh Barrier Strengthening Moisturizer
Molecular Mesh Barrier Strengthening Moisturizer is a great option if your skin is dry, sensitive, or dealing with redness.
It contains 10% glycerin, ectoin, and centella to help hydrate, soothe irritation, and support your skin barrier.
I like that it has a rich, nourishing feel without being too heavy.
It also works well under makeup, which is a plus if you need extra moisture during the day.
If you’re using tretinoin or other ingredients that tend to dry out your skin, this is a moisturizer I’d consider adding to your routine.
14. KVD Beauty Tattoo Liner Vegan Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I’ve used the KVD Tattoo Liner for years, and it’s still the one I reach for. It’s a precise, long-wearing liquid liner that doesn’t smudge or fade.
The ultra-fine brush tip makes it easy to get a clean line, whether you want something thin or bold.
It’s also waterproof and lasts all day.
If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative though, I think NYX makes some great liquid eyeliners!
15. Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream
Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Cream is a 10/10 in my opinion.
I love how it instantly brightens my under-eyes and helps reduce puffiness, making me look more awake.
It has a beautiful pearlescent finish, and ingredients like caffeine and Brazilian ginseng help improve the appearance of dark circles and fine lines.
Haircare
1. Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer
Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer is a great option if you have fine hair and want more volume without weighing it down.
It’s a lightweight foam that helps give hair a fuller, bouncier look while keeping it soft and manageable.
I like that it also offers heat protection, so you can use it before blow-drying without adding another product to your routine.
2. Curlsmith Curl Conditioning Hair Oil-In-Cream
A rich leave-in conditioner that deeply moisturizes and softens curls.
It helps reduce frizz, adds shine, and keeps hair hydrated all week.
A little goes a long way, and it’s perfect for twist-outs, braids, or the LOC and LCO methods.
3. Verb Ghost Weightless Hair Oil
This is my favorite hair oil ever.
It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and works on all hair types to smooth frizz and add shine.
The blend of moringa, bamboo, and argan oils hydrates and strengthens strands while keeping them soft and glossy.
4. K18 AirWash Dry Shampoo
K18 AirWash Dry Shampoo is a great option if your hair gets oily between washes, particularly if you have fine hair and want a little extra volume.
Unlike traditional aerosol dry shampoos, this one comes in a non-aerosol spray that helps absorb excess oil without leaving a white cast or making your hair feel weighed down.
A little goes a long way, and I like that it helps refresh your roots without the powdery buildup you can get from other dry shampoos.
5. Chris McMillan The Classics Hair Styling Value Set
If you’ve been wanting to try Chris McMillan’s hair products, The Classics Hair Styling Minis Value Set is a good place to start.
It comes with four travel-size styling products that you can use on their own or together to help with frizz, volume, and styling.
I also think it would make a nice holiday gift for someone who loves doing their hair, and the mini sizes are convenient for traveling.
6. Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair!
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask is one of my favorite hair masks, and I love it so much that I have all the variations!
It’s a rich, conditioning treatment that helps with dryness and frizz, leaving hair feeling softer, smoother, and easier to manage.
I love using it when my hair needs a little extra care, and it’s a great weekly treatment if your hair feels dry or damaged.
