Today, I’m so excited to introduce a gorgeous product lineup from Sevo Skincare.
I, quite literally, squealed with excitement when I first opened the package and haven’t been disappointed since at alllllll.
These are effective, streamlined formulas rooted in herbalism. The thoughtful formulation across all 3 is a pleasant departure from the largely junk products in this space.
I’ve never been a fan of tallow as all of the balms I’ve tried have either smelled terrible or been way too heavy for my skin. In contrast, Sevo’s tallow balm is lightweight with a fluffy “whipped” texture that absorbs beautifully.
I’m not worried about breaking out from this one even though I tend to be acne-prone with heavier skincare products. I assume that’s largely because of the way the tallow is whipped with other lighter-weight fatty ingredients, like rosehip oil (one of my favorites…if you’ve been around for a while, you already know!)

Even better, it’s formulated with CoQ10 and other powerful ingredients for anti-aging. In fact, the only other product I can think of that’s formulated with CoQ10 off the top of my head is Stratia’s Vitamin C Serum (which I also love).
I can tell the founder put time and effort into developing Sevo Skincare - just from his formulas, his philosophies align with mine on skincare & overall health.
A quick rundown of some of the key ingredients (you won’t find many formulations like these out there, especially in such a streamlined fashion):
Morning Serum: Methylene blue, Vitamin C, Tremella, Astragalus, Taurine, and Gotu Kola
Evening Serum: Royal Honey, Tremella, Niacinamide, Bacopa, and Magnesium Chloride
Face Balm: Tallow, CoQ10, Rosehip Oil, Pregnenolone, and Vitamin K
The serums are lightweight and packed with powerhouse ingredients.
As a bonus, the morning serum doesn’t smell bad like some vitamin C serums do. I actually quite like the herbal scent, and it didn’t irritate my skin at all.
Besides my own @BetterBiom, this is the first Twitter-born personal care brand I’ve loved at first sight.
I highly suggest checking Sevo out if you’re interested in trying something totally unique (not to mention beautiful. Did you see the packaging in my picture?? Go look again.)
Anyways - I contacted the founder to let him know how much I loved his products, and he offered us a discount code!
