The Best of Tatcha in 2023
In honor of Tatcha’s four-day 25% off sitewide sale with code PREVIEW23, I’m quickly running down a couple of cult favorites from the brand.
Good timing considering I just got a lovely package from them and couldn’t be more ecstatic:
Plus, I gotta say, Tatcha products make fantastic gifts for the beauty-lovers in your life.
So here are my top 3:

Best Moisturizer: Dewy Skin Cream
Dewy Skin Cream is so thick and rich that you only need a pearl-sized amount to give your skin that instant glow and healthy bounce we love.
This moisturizer is one of my favorite skincare products I’ve tried. It might be my favorite Tatcha purchase.
I usually don’t love products with fragrance, but I didn’t have any irritation with this one.
Aaaand the formula has a bunch of antioxidants and botanical extracts in it to nourish your barrier.
Plus, it comes with that little golden spoon for application so you don’t have to use your fingers.

The Silk Serum
The Silk Serum uses sea fennel and cranberry extracts to get a retinol-like effect without any of the same potential for irritation.
This formula speeds up skin cell turnover and will help with dark spots, light signs of aging, and skin texture.
Plus, it’s safe to use twice per day and won’t induce photosensitivity like retinoids can.
If you’re looking for an anti-aging serum, consider checking this one out.
The Deep Cleanse
I have acne-prone skin and am largely used to basic gentle cleansers, but The Deep Cleanse is surprisingly good.
The formula gently buffs your skin and exfoliates texture and flakiness (which I need in the winter especially), and I like how my skin feels after cleansing.
If you’re torn between The Rice Wash and The Deep Cleanse, I’d say go for The Deep Cleanse - wasn’t a big fan of The Rice Wash.
The Bottom Line
Many people aren’t in Tatcha because of the price point, and I get it.
Skincare should be functional, and for it to be functional, it should be accessible to you.
That said, Tatcha offers an elevated experience with cosmetically elegant formulas and awe-inducing packaging.
Seriously, I gasped when I got my package - extra gifts? Purple scarves? Gorgeous boxes that I nearly want to display in my house? Tatcha does e-commerce right.
A few years ago, I wouldn't have sprung for Tatcha, but I occasionally do now for the experience of it.
I’ve tried hundreds of skincare products in the last few years, so that’s not a compliment I give out easily.
Cheers,
