My Favorite Body Soap
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, just a cartoon deer on the internet with a background in chemistry and a hyperfixation on skin. This is not medical advice.
TLDR: just get the tea tree soap from here.
“Fawn, what should I use for soap?”
This is one of the most common questions I get through private consultations!
Unlike your face and neck, the skin on your body is thick and more resilient against aging and caustic agents.
Plus, soap is only on your body for a minute.
So, real talk? It doesn’t matter much.
If you need active ingredients to target acne or blackheads, I’d suggest you consider repurposing one of the cleansers from my preferred list as body wash.
2% salicylic acid and 10% benzoyl peroxide can work wonders for body acne (I’d stick to 2.5%-4% BP for your face).
I’d also suggest you check out my full protocol to clear up back acne and hyperpigmentation.
Otherwise, you can do what I do!
Pick up some soap from one of my favorite families, The Farmers, on their website.
Between raising a few little ones, homesteading, beekeeping (yes, they have their own apiary!), and other unique endeavors, @BowTiedFarmer and @BowTiedMissFarm are some of the coolest people I’ve met through the BowTied Jungle.
Bonus: their wildflower honey is the best I’ve ever had and is phenomenal for killing sugar cravings on a cut.
By purchasing any of these items from the link above, you’ll be supporting all of us as we continue to create content for you and build our community.
That’s all for now! Happy body(?)care!
