Korean Skincare, Zero or Hero?
The skincare line that might just change your routine for good.
Yepoda is a Korean skincare brand that blends natural ingredients with effective formulations, all while keeping sustainability at the center of its mission.
Each product is made in Korea using vegan ingredients and is developed with a focus on both skin health and environmental impact.
The brand also donates 1% of every purchase to support the planet.
With gentle scents, thoughtful packaging, and a variety of textures, Yepoda offers products designed to fit into different routines and skin types.
In this article, I’ll be sharing my personal experience after testing several of their products over four months.
The Routine Breakdown
I tried each product in different parts of my routine over the past four months.
Here’s a look at how they worked for me and what stood out.
1. The Calm Balm
The Calm Balm is a solid cleansing balm made with olive and coconut oil.
It melts into an oil on your skin and is supposed to help remove makeup, sebum, and buildup from the day.
The scent is kind of sweet and fruity, but not too strong, and it works for a bunch of skin types; dry, sensitive, combo, you name it.
I don’t love this one, though. It does get your makeup off, but it leaves this weird film on my skin that I can’t stand.
Total sensory nightmare.
I always double cleanse after using oil-based cleansers, but with this one, it’s not optional, I have to follow up with The Bubble Double or I feel gross.
Honestly, it just drives me nuts.
I much prefer the cleansing balm from Versed.
2. The Bubble Double
The Bubble Double is a foaming cleanser made with pomegranate and salicylic acid.
It starts as a liquid and turns into a soft, airy foam when you pump it out.
The scent is light and fruity, with a bit of pomegranate. It’s made to help with things like clogged pores, oiliness, and uneven texture.
I LOVE this cleanser.
I’m almost out of it and already kind of annoyed about that.
The packaging feels sturdy, the formula fits into my routine really well, and I kept reaching for it the whole time I was testing these products.
3. The Mist Have
The Mist Have is a face mist with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and ginseng.
It also has green tea and lavender to help calm your skin (and kind of your senses too).
The scent is fresh and citrusy with a little hint of lavender, and the spray comes out in a light, foggy mist, not too heavy.
It can be used in a bunch of ways: as a toner, a midday refresher, before makeup, or after.
I’m already out of this one. It was super hydrating and felt really good on my skin, so I used it all the time.
Right now I’m testing other products (I’m using NIOD Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist), but honestly, this was one of the ones I finished the fastest.
4. The Glow Hero
The Glow Hero is an oil-serum hybrid made with bakuchiol, which is often used as a gentler alternative to retinol.
It’s meant to help with dryness, dullness, and fine lines.
The texture feels soft and velvety, and it spreads really evenly on the skin. It doesn’t have much of a scent, which I liked.
It’s supposed to give your skin that extra glow, like a dewy finish.
Right now, since it’s summer, I’m actually using it on my body instead of my face.
After shaving, I layer it over Tula’s 24/7 moisturizer, and my skin feels super soft the next day.
It works well as a body oil, and I like that I’ve been able to use it in a different way.
Final Verdict
Trying out Yepoda for four months gave me a pretty good feel for what the brand is all about.
Some products stood out and felt like a good fit for my routine, while others weren’t for me.
That’s kind of expected with skincare though, what works great for one person might not land the same for someone else.
The formulas felt thoughtful, the packaging was high quality, and I appreciated the focus on sustainability.
I’m glad I had the chance to test everything and figure out what I’d actually want to keep using.
Cheers,
